Peerbolte Chiropractic opened its doors for business in 1972. Originally located just one door South of its current location at 404 Poplar St. Atlantic, Iowa. The office has been in continual operation ever since. At one point an additional satellite office was opened in Red Oak, Iowa but was eventually sold to another provider. Currently, there are two providers available for patient care, Dr. R.L. Peerbolte and Dr. Mitch Peerbolte. Both doctors graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
The current office is a 2,000 square foot facility nestled into downtown Atlantic. Comprised of a reception area, staff working areas, multiple patient treatment rooms, x-ray room, and doctor’s offices. Here, we strive to educate our patients as well as provide necessary comprehensive care in a safe environment. We use new technologies, innovative care strategies, along with traditional proven techniques to provide the best Chiropractic care around.
R. L. Peerbolte D.C.
Dr. R. L. Peerbolte received his Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Doctor Peerbolte graduated Cum Laude (high honors) within the class of 1969. He has served his profession as a board member and as an officer for the Iowa Chiropractic Society and a member of the American Chiropractic Association for over 45 years. He has been a member and participated in many organizations including the J.C.’s, Rotary, Elks, Knights of Columbus, and Atlantic Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Peerbolte also has been active in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Nishna Hills Golf, and Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
Mitch Peerbolte D.C.
Dr. Mitch Peerbolte joined the Peerbolte Chiropractic team in 2012. Upon successful completion of his Doctorate (D.C.) at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, as an honor graduate, Dr. Mitch began working in the office and taking care of patients. Dr. Mitch Peerbolte is fully Board Certified and Licensed within the State of Iowa. In addition to being a practicing Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Mitch is also involved in several other activities and hobbies. He has been a part of the Atlantic Volunteer Fire Department as a Nationally Certified Firefighter since 2013. In 2017, he joined the Iowa Army National Guard and is currently serving as a Guardsman. Dr. Mitch is also involved in the Knights of Columbus as well as ARISE (Atlantic Rock Island Society Enterprise). In his free time he enjoys a round of golf, sports, a ride on the motorcycle, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
